Booking Terms & Conditions


Bookings may be done directly online, by e-mail or telephone. Bookings are not confirmed until we have received your deposit/payments as specified on each booking page and until you have received a confirmation email from us at EIP Sailing Ltd.

Only full payment guarantees your place on board.

Please ensure that you quote the event or cabin that you want to book and your name if the payment goes from somebody else’s bank account.

Once we’ve received your payment(s) we will email you to confirm your payment.

If you have sent your money but haven’t received an email from us within a reasonable time allowing for your transfer please contact us immediately. Please ensure you have a confirmation email for each of your instalments.

It is your responsibility to make your payments on time. If you are traveling or having difficulties with making payments or keeping the payment deadlines please contact us and we will be as accommodating as it will be possible in each individual case.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you have to cancel your booking, you have to do this in writing, not later than 3 days before the scheduled start event or trip. We will refund all your fees paid but we reserve the right to keep the deposit. If a cancellation is made later than 3 days before the scheduled start time we will not be able to refund your fee. You might however be able to transfer your booking to another name or date.

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel the Dining Experience or Hotel Booking, then unless an alternative date can be agreed, 100% of all fees will be refunded. We will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred.

Food & Accommodation

Please make sure that you read the details on the ‘Tall Ship Hotel’ section before booking.  There are 3 meal options available to you and reading all of the information will allow you to make the best decision regarding your stay.  Unless otherwise stated your meals and non-alcoholic drinks including tea and coffee will be provided on board. All other meals and drinks bought in visited ports, alcoholic drinks and snacks are at your own expense. There is strictly no smoking below decks and you are asked if you do smoke, please use only designated areas and please to do so downwind for others!

It is your responsibility to let us know at the time of booking or not later than 3 days before the scheduled arrival date if you have a special diet or allergies. Please let us know if you have any special accommodation requirements. Accommodation is provided as stated for each Hotel booking and we cannot guarantee double or single cabins unless you arrange them at the time of booking.


We will endeavour to complete all planned events as advertised but sometimes bad weather may command that it is not possible to hold certain events on the deck. In these cases a suitable alternative may have to be offered. We will endeavour to agree any alternative arrangements in advance however the Captain’s decision is final.


Our vessel is insured against accidents and third party liabilities. We will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to client’s personal property. If you chose to bring something valuable onboard and are worried about it please leave it with the captain in a safe for the duration of your stay onboard. Clients are strongly advised to ensure that they have adequate insurance to cover personal injury and their own property.

Complaints procedure

In the unlikely event of you having a complaint about any aspect of your time on the ship please speak to your Captain or any senior staff on board in the first instance. He/she will endeavour to rectify any problems you may be having then and there. If the problem is not resolved then please speak to us either by email or by calling our phone number.
